The client needs a QA/QC Senior Inspector to lead the effort and provide on-site inspection services to ensure all construction activities comply with client standards, project specifications, and contract requirements.
Requirements
- Knowledge of GSA inspection protocols and federal construction requirements.
- Certifications such as ICC, ACI, or equivalent strongly preferred.
- Experience on large projects ($100M+) highly desirable.
- Knowledge of construction inspection methods and techniques.
- Familiarity with project specifications, drawings, and client standards.
- Understanding of sustainability and IRA-related construction mandates.
- Experience with SOX control responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily field inspections of construction activities and materials.
- Verify compliance with project specifications, drawings, and client standards.
- Prepare and maintain daily inspection reports, logs, and punch lists.
- Track contractor manpower, equipment, and material deliveries.
- Ensure compliance with sustainability and IRA-related construction mandates.
- Support resolution of deficiencies and coordination of corrective actions.
- SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
Other
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 10–15 years of construction inspection experience, preferably on federal projects.
- Ability to work on-site and perform daily field inspections.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to track and maintain accurate records and reports.
