Raytheon is seeking to improve the efficiency and quality of the supplier First Article Inspection (FAI) submittal process through a new center of excellence (COE), with the goal of increasing supplier first pass yield and reducing material on hold for missing FAI requirements.
Requirements
- Experience with AS9100 and AS9102.
- Knowledge of PRISM, Business Warehouse, RCAS
- Competency and experience in a relevant technical discipline with understanding of engineering principles and design analysis techniques.
- Experience in supporting design and/or manufacturing processes.
- Critical thinking skills
Responsibilities
- Proactively engage with the Raytheon supply base to drive the efficiency and quality of the supplier FAI submittal process.
- Provide feedback to increase supplier first pass yield (FPY) inside of Net Inspect – Raytheon’s FAI submittal tool.
- Perform on-site supplier engagements to achieve day-to-day objectives with major impact on operational results within the COE.
- Perform supplier surveillance activities, consisting of, but not limited to, Final Source Inspections, Remote First Article Inspection, In-process inspections.
- Daily interaction with other cross- business teams in Raytheon to maintain and meet organizational goals and objectives.
- Ensure full compliance with industry and company policies and procedures.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities using CORE.

- Typically requires a Bachelor’s in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) discipline and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience OR an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
- Expect to travel domestically up to 25% of your time
