Seagate is seeking a Senior Quality Engineering Manager to ensure the delivery of exceptional quality and reliability across their enterprise storage systems, directly influencing customer satisfaction and long-term success by leading a global team focused on post-sales product performance and customer issue resolution.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Jira, Sales Force, and other issue-tracking and reporting tools.
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional quality governance boards or similar forums.
- Certifications such as Six Sigma Black Belt, CQE, or PMP are a plus.
- 8 - 10 years of experience in quality engineering, with at least 3 - 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record in customer-facing quality roles, preferably in enterprise systems or storage.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a global team of quality engineers supporting customer success and field quality.
- Define and execute quality strategies aligned with business goals and customer expectations.
- Represent the voice of the customer in cross-functional forums and drive quality-centric decisions.
- Partner with Technical Account Managers, Field Application Engineers, and Technical Support to resolve complex customer issues.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action processes for systemic field issues.
- Own and manage Jira dashboards across key systems accounts to track field issues, 8D progress, and quality KPIs.
- Drive continuous improvement using Six Sigma, 8D, FMEA, and other quality methodologies.
