Mortenson is seeking a Senior Quality Manager to lead, manage, document, monitor, and analyze the supplier quality system on significant projects within their Data Center Solutions Group, and to implement necessary corrective and preventive actions.
Requirements
- Knowledge of one or more quality systems as well as auditing processes and techniques
- Auditor certification (CQM, CQI, ISO 9001, or ASQ) preferred
- Experience/knowledge of International Building Code (IBC), building envelop requirements, and/or National Electrical Code - NFPA 70 desired
- Experience/knowledge of renewable energy construction a plus
Responsibilities
- Incorporate and lead Mortenson’s quality system on one or more significant projects
- Implement, manage, and maintain a robust supplier quality management program.
- Develop and/or enhance processes for supplier selection, qualification, and management.
- Draft and maintain quality agreements with critical suppliers and trade partners.
- Create and maintain Quality agreement database.
- Develop, assess, and report on supplier performance metrics.
- Manage/monitor supplier complaints and change notifications.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, engineering (Industrial, Electrical, Civil, Mechanical), or equivalent field/scientific discipline
- 5+ years of experience in the design, engineering, manufacturing, or construction industry; with experience leading a project’s quality system
- Communicate professionally and effectively across multiple internal and external audiences
- Build, motivate, and lead diverse and growing teams
- Must be currently legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship for employment visa status
