Boston Scientific is looking for a leader to manage a team of Quality Engineers and Technicians to ensure high product and process quality, meet regulatory requirements, and drive continuous improvement within the ADSA Business Unit.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in quality/operations or equivalent
- 2+ years of direct or indirect leadership experience
- Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities
- Understanding and working knowledge of Medical Device Quality Systems and Regulatory Requirements
- Experience in Medical Device industry
Responsibilities
- Provides technical guidance in identifying and resolving quality issues using engineering essentials and other related problem-solving tools and techniques.
- Identifies and implements effective systems and process controls supporting the development, qualification, testing, measurement, or ongoing manufacturing of products.
- Monitors key quality performance indicators of the team and reprioritizes project work in order to meet established objectives.
- Proactively investigates, identifies, and implements best-in-class quality practices.
- Focuses on continuous improvement by championing value improvement projects (VIP) and lean business practices (LBP).
- Demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.

- Bachelor’s degree with an Engineering or Science background
- Demonstrated effective change leadership
- Demonstrated achieving established goals
- Strong business acumen and communication skills, with the ability to quickly establish impact and consequences
- Ability to collaborate and influence across multiple, cross-functional teams
- 2-3 years of Supervisory experience
