Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year experience working in an AS9100 (or similar standard) manufacturing and inspection environment.
  • Minimum of 1–2-year experience writing programs and running CMM.
  • Minimum of 1–2-year experience in developing and implementing quality procedures and work instructions.
  • Proficient with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) read, write and interpret.
  • Drawing Interpretation 2-3 years experience.
  • Experience working with various measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
  • Experience working with PC DMIS and Calypso software

Responsibilities

  • Perform visual and mechanical inspections using measurement and test equipment that includes, but is not limited to: pin gages, calipers, micrometers, bore gages, height gage, profilometer, optical comparator, CMM, and GOM scanner.
  • Measure components and compare results to Engineering drawings that contain GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and industry standard specification controls.
  • Create, develop, and implement inspection processes based on customer specifications.
  • Create and run part measurement programs using PC DMIS and Calypso software.
  • Collaborate with Quality & Manufacturing Engineering to resolve any issues found during product realization.
  • Assist with creating and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) such as calibration records, Key Performance Indicator (KPI) tracking, and document control.
  • Create inspection documentation and collect and verify all data for customer data packet or CoC packet.

Other

  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience working in a quality position.
  • Formal written and verbal communication with internal and external parties (customers and suppliers) as well as performing inter-company and external presentations.
  • Proficient in Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. Citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
