Onto Innovation is looking to hire a software developer to help solve difficult yield, device performance, quality, and reliability issues for their semiconductor manufacturing clients by developing and implementing algorithms and software features for semiconductor device metrology.

Requirements

• Experience with machine learning
• Aptitude for mathematical modeling
• At least 2 years of experience coding professionally in C++ or Python
• Experience with Matlab, C, or Python
• Experience with metrology
• At least 2 years of experience coding professionally in machine learning area

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement algorithms and software features for semiconductor device metrology
• Code with consideration for program resilience and maintainability
• Solve problems exposed during testing or which arise in connection with new use cases
• Cooperate and share information with other algorithms, applications, and software developers
• Participate in code reviews

Other

• BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment
• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline
