Requirements
- 6 years of experience in applying Design for Reliability techniques.
- 6 years of experience with Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
- Experience with reliability testing and failure analysis techniques.
- Experience with data mining, statistical software (e.g., JMP, Minitab), and data visualization tools.
- Experience with leveraging AI tools, Large Language Models (LLMs) and machine learning concepts for predictive modeling and data analysis.
- Understanding of statistical analysis methods (e.g., Weibull analysis, ANOVA, DoE).
- Analyze large datasets from testing and field returns using tools like Python and advanced data mining techniques to identify failure trends and root causes.
Responsibilities
- Lead and perform Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify and mitigate potential risks in product designs and manufacturing processes.
- Develop and implement Design for Reliability (DfR) strategies throughout the product development life-cycle, providing feedback to design teams.
- Utilize Physics of Failure (PoF) principles to build reliability models and predict product lifetime under various use conditions.
- Develop and execute comprehensive reliability test plans.
- Analyze large datasets from testing and field returns using tools like Python and advanced data mining techniques to identify failure trends and root causes.
- Leverage AI tools like Gemini and other LLMs to accelerate research, data analysis, and report generation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to implement corrective actions and drive improvement.

- Bachelor's degree in hardware engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in the consumer electronics industry.
