QuidelOrtho is looking for a Senior Report Developer (Power BI) to design, develop, and maintain advanced reports and dashboards, lead data modeling efforts, create scalable data solutions, integrate disparate data sources, and deliver actionable insights to support complex business requirements.
Requirements
- 7 years of experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI.
- Extensive experience with advanced data modeling techniques and tools.
- Proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and relational database design.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and ETL processes, with familiarity in cloud-based data solutions.
- Expertise in designing scalable and efficient data models for complex datasets.
- Advanced understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development, implementation, and optimization of Power BI dashboards and reports to meet organizational needs.
- Design and manage complex data models to ensure efficient data retrieval and storage.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Implement and maintain best practices in data governance, accuracy, and security.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior report developers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to reporting and data modeling.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, tools, and strategies.
