Peraton is seeking to support requirements gathering, analysis, and administration of complex projects, ensuring solutions meet business needs by bridging business objectives with system design.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of requirement management tools (e.g., DOORS Next Generation (DNG), JIRA, Confluence) and Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Certification in Business Analysis or Requirements Engineering (e.g., CBAP, IREB, PMI-PBA)
- Knowledge of modeling techniques (UML, BPMN, SysML)
- Experience working on large-scale enterprise IT projects
- Certified Scrum Master
- Active MBI Clearance
Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyze, and document business, functional, and technical requirements from stakeholders to support overall modernization efforts and legacy system retirement
- Translate business needs into clear and actionable system requirements
- Develop and maintain requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure requirements are complete, consistent, testable, and align with business goals
- Support system design and development teams by clarifying requirements and addressing gaps
- Contribute to development of use cases, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria
- Validate and provide requirements content, such as Epics and User Stories, to the technical artifacts such as the Vision, Scope & Architecture (VSA) documentation

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both business and technical stakeholders
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident (LPR) with at least three consecutive years of U.S. residency from the date of legal entry as an LPR
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required MBI clearance
- Requires minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Additional 4 years of experience maybe accepted in lieu of the degree
