Thomson Reuters is seeking a Senior Research Engineer to help create new and innovative capabilities that drive transformation and delight customers through AI and Deep Learning solutions.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years software engineering experience.
  • At least 2 years working on a Deep Learning or LLM related product or solution.
  • Have a deep understanding of Python software development stacks and ecosystems.
  • Demonstrate ability to write clean, reusable, maintainable and well-tested code
  • Strong experience with cloud computing development (AWS preferred).
  • Have experience with Agile Methodologies.
  • Have experience implementing CI/CD, DevOps, and SDLC concepts in development of a application.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and Deliver: Applying modern software development practices, building, testing and delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Build Scalable DL/LLM Solutions: Create large scale data processing pipelines to help researchers build and train novel deep learning and LLM algorithms.
  • Be a Team Player: Working in a collaborative team-oriented environment, sharing information, valuing diverse ideas, partnering with cross-functional and remote teams.
  • Be an Agile Person: With a strong sense of urgency and a desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, delivering timely solutions.

  • A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Related Field, or Equivalent Experience
  • Ability to collaborate, communicate effectively, and work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
