Requirements
- Proven ability to design and execute complex research experiments independently
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience mentoring and training junior staff on specialized laboratory procedures
- Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and proper handling of hazardous substances
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field with at least four years of research experience, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Responsibilities
- Independently perform complex and technical laboratory tests and research procedures
- Develop and refine specialized research methodologies using advanced techniques and equipment
- Analyze and interpret experimental data, providing insights and recommendations for alternative approaches
- Train and mentor research staff on unique laboratory techniques and theoretical concepts
- Contribute to protocol development, departmental goals, and research funding applications
- Prepare charts, graphs, and written materials for publications, presentations, and reporting purposes
- Oversee quality assurance, hazardous material handling, and adherence to laboratory safety standards

- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field with at least four years of research experience, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports, presentations, and publications
- In-person work at a laboratory facility is required; remote work is not an option
