BILL's Risk Portfolio & Workforce Management team needs a Sr Risk Portfolio Data Analyst to drive business excellence for BILL's advanced payments and risk operations by integrating data-driven workforce planning and risk analysis to safeguard BILL's payment ecosystem, continuously improve internal processes, and deliver mission-critical business outcomes.
Requirements
- Advanced technical proficiency with SQL, Python, and data visualization platforms (Tableau, QuickSight); able to independently conduct data analysis, automate reporting workflows, and design insightful dashboards.
- Experience with dbt a plus.
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills, leveraging data to surface business risks and actionable opportunities.
- Demonstrated expertise in risk portfolio analysis, workforce management, and payments operations—including hands-on experience with compliance (KYC/KYB), fraud detection, or risk mitigation in a fintech or payments environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead multifaceted analysis of workforce and risk portfolio data, integrating insights across payment platforms and operational processes for actionable business decisions.
- Design, maintain, and communicate advanced dashboards and regular reports, utilizing data visualization tools to surface trends in workforce and payment risk.
- Develop and implement process improvements for operational efficiency, resource allocation, and readiness for organizational change.
- Proactively identify, analyze, and mitigate complex risks using risk management frameworks and quantitative methods; ensure regulatory compliance and fraud control across processes.
- Drive key cross-functional projects, regularly partnering with Product, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, and Customer Experience teams to deliver strategic outcomes.
- Ensure integrity and accuracy of workforce and risk data, maintaining reliable data sources for planning, reporting, and compliance.
- Contribute to documentation, training, and adoption of new or improved procedures; support the adoption of efficient and repeatable workflows.
