Raytheon's Software Configuration Management (SWCM) department is looking to hire a Senior Software Configuration Management Engineer to work as a Software Transfer Agent onsite in Colorado Springs, CO, to establish and maintain integrity for all digital products throughout the entire life cycle.
Requirements
- Experience in debugging/troubleshooting of connectivity issues in complex systems
- Automation experience shell scripting in Linux, Unix, and Windows
- Experience with scripting programming languages (i.e., Perl, shell, PHP, C, batch, Python, Ruby, or YAML)
- Experience with the Atlassian Suite, CloudBees Jenkins, JFrog Artifactory, Chef, Rundeck
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance
- Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment
- Strong background in task automation
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong working relationships across all teams
- Automate and streamline transfer procedures and processes
- Create customized / tailored configurations, workflows, automations, reports, and integrations that meet specific program, customer and/or site requirements
- Trouble-shoot / repair issues, escalations, and action items
- Maintain familiarity with program schedule, identifying risks and aligning work to promote reuse and efficiency
- Support internal and external customers in a technical capacity throughout the program lifecycle
- Ensure site baseline and post deploy verifications
Other
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Work effectively with individuals from diverse communities/cultures and cross discipline organizations
