Starr Insurance Companies is looking to support the business operations of their property and casualty insurance company by designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce solutions.
Requirements
Advanced proficiency in Apex, Lightning Components (Aura/LWC), SOQL, and Salesforce Flows.
Strong understanding of Salesforce security, sharing, and data model architecture.
Experience with CI/CD tools and version control (e.g., Git, Copado, Gearset).
Experience with Salesforce integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware such as MuleSoft, Informatica, etc.).
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce applications, components, and integrations, with a focus on Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Pardot or Marketing Cloud
Customize Salesforce using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components (Aura/LWC), Flows, and Process Builder.
Implement and maintain integrations between Salesforce and core insurance systems (e.g., policy administration, claims, billing) using APIs, middleware, and ETL tools.
Serve as a subject matter expert on Salesforce best practices, security, and platform capabilities.
Mentor and guide junior developers and administrators.
Participate in code reviews and enforce development standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Other
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
7+ years of overall experience and 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings.
