Liberty Mutual is seeking to transform Salesforce from siloed systems into a strategic, global platform that empowers the business to launch products, scale operations, and deliver exceptional experiences quickly and reliably.

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience developing and designing Salesforce capabilities (Sales Cloud and Service Cloud Required)
  • Experience with object-oriented programming, Apex, Lightning Web Components, JavaScript, Process Builder/Flow, and SFDX
  • Experience in Java/J2EE and proven ability to pick-up new languages & frameworks as required
  • Experience with Java, and other full stack frameworks and languages is a plus (Typescript, HTML, CSS), including Java and RESTful services, spanning horizontal and vertical packages
  • Proficient in software engineering tools such as CloudForge, Bamboo, Github Jira, Venti, Kafka.
  • Backend Engineering experience building API products and managing API solutions (e.g., Apigee), including API versioning, documentation, and developer onboarding highly preferred.
  • Experience in AWS serverless solution design and event-driven integration patterns preferred

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate effectively within an Agile team alongside the Product Owner, Scrum Master, and other team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and maintain scalable, reusable Salesforce solutions across multiple orgs.
  • Develop and promote best practices, standardization, and governance for global Salesforce implementations.
  • Influence DevOps processes and enable continuous improvement of Salesforce deployment and management.
  • Identify and advocate for the adoption of reusable platform capabilities.
  • Champion and maximize the use of Salesforce’s out-of-the-box capabilities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and limit custom development where possible.
  • Write clean, maintainable, reusable code according to the team's standards, continuously seeking improvements to coding practices.

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical or business discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Must have ability to work in a hybrid setting with 2 days onsite in one of the following locations: Portsmouth, NH, Boston, MA, Plano, TX and Indianapolis, IN.

  • Mentoring and coaching team members as well as other teams.
  • Ability to work independently.
