Grüns is looking to develop, scale, and maintain its multi-brand Shopify ecosystem, launching best-in-class digital experiences that drive conversion, performance, and retention, while building the technical foundation to support rapid brand expansion and global scale.
Requirements
- 7–10 years full-stack experience, with at least 4 years in Shopify theme/app development and Liquid/React integration
- Proven record of owning front-end and back-end Shopify builds end-to-end, from architecture to deployment
- Deep understanding of Shopify Plus themes, Liquid, React/Next.js, Node.js, and modern CI/CD pipelines
- Strong command of Tailwind, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and performance optimization tools (Lighthouse, SpeedCurve)
- Experience building scalable, modular architecture that supports brand launches, experimentation, and rapid iteration
- Familiarity with APIs (REST, GraphQL), page builders (e.g., Replo, Builder.io), and headless commerce approaches
- Cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP), personalization frameworks, and performance monitoring experience
Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and deploy major features that improve customer experience and drive conversion — from membership portals and bundle builders to new brand launches and international expansion.
- Design and implement scalable systems, shared components, and developer tooling that increase velocity for CRO testing, new product launches, and brand rollouts.
- Establish and enforce best practices for site speed, SEO/GEO readiness, accessibility, and uptime. Use analytics and monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Build and maintain integrations between Shopify Plus and backend systems such as CRM, CDP, order management, and fulfillment.
- Partner with Ecom, Growth, and Engineering to translate business priorities into technical milestones. Estimate effort, surface dependencies, and align on timelines to ensure fast, high-quality delivery.
- Build scalable, maintainable codebases with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and clear documentation.
- Work hand-in-hand with Design and CRO teams to ideate, prototype, test, and iterate on conversion-driving experiences.
