Sparta Systems, Inc. is looking for a Sr. Site Reliability / Sr. DevOps Engineer to contribute to the sustainability and delivery of their SaaS-based product line, supporting live products, sustaining engineering teams, and the delivery of new product features.

Requirements

  • experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – Cloud Formation/Terraform
  • hands-on experience with Kubernetes, container-based technology
  • experience in Linux Administration, (Red Hat / CentOS)
  • experience in languages such as Python or Shell Scripting
  • knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service
  • expertise in workflow/pipeline automation leveraging Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) workflows.
  • concentration on AWS-based resources and leveraging technologies such as TerraForm, Python, ELK, Datadog, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with team of developers and QA analysts to understand and anticipate the infrastructure needs of Agile SDLC development and QA processes.
  • Contribute to sustainability and delivery of SaaS based product line.
  • Supporting live SaaS product portfolio
  • supporting our sustaining engineering teams
  • supporting the delivery of new product features spanning the suite of SaaS application developed by our engineering teams.
  • delivery of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with concentration on AWS-based resources and leveraging technologies such as TerraForm, Python, ELK, Datadog, etc.

Other

  • Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and 4 years of experience with SRE/DevOps, SaaS applications.

  • Location: Hamilton NJ
  • 40 hours/week
