The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Health Management Software Architect to support the Government Training and Health Management Software Engineering team, focusing on health management and data analytics solutions across the organization, with the goal of transitioning from reactive to proactive health management.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience developing software solutions for enterprise-level data and analytics in multiple programming languages and frameworks
- 5+ years of technical leadership experience
- 5+ years of knowledge of software programming languages, databases, the ability to apply to the software domain and architecture frameworks
- 5+ years of experience developing solutions within cloud frameworks including Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Experience and knowledge overseeing a comprehensive end-to-end development and operation architecture for data analytics solutions
- Experience working in the military and defense domain including working with ITAR, EAR, and sensitive data ensuring compliance with regulations
- Experience developing and/or leading AI based solutions for analytic products including solutions leveraging generative AI
Responsibilities
- Software Platform Design: Oversee the design, architecture, and development of a data integration and analytics platform to provide a common environment that enables Boeing and its partners to manage, analyze, and derive insights from large and complex platform datasets.
- Strategic Alignment: Ensure the software architecture aligns with Engineering Test & Technology (ET&T) software objectives and integrates seamlessly with the BGS Government solutions.
- Technology Solution Identification: Assess technology solutions for data integration (ETL capabilities e.g. Apache Airflow), data storage (PostgreSQL, Neo4j, Amazon S3), big data processing (Apache Spark), data analytics & machine learning (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.), data visualization (Apache Superset), containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.), and software web development solutions (Angular, TypeScript, Python, RESTful APIs, etc.).
- Compliance and Regulatory Oversight: Ensure software solutions and data governance policies comply with relevant regulations and standards including ITAR/EAR, CUI, and data classification restrictions.
- Software Design Practice Implementation: Lead the development, establishment, monitoring and improvement of software processes, architectural documentation, tool selecting, and key performance metrics to support high quality, repeatable, and understandable software system design.
- Technical Debt Management: Actively seek approaches to reduce technical debt and reduce future debt creation.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Partner with software engineering leadership, Information Technology, Software Quality Assurance (SQE), and business counterparts to ensure software solutions meet business needs, quality standards, and information security requirements.
