Sev1Tech is seeking a Senior Software Architect to support the Navy JEXC2 project, providing software engineering and architecture oversight for the JEXC2 software, and ensuring compliance with applicable cybersecurity standards.
Requirements
- Software development and integration for military C4I systems including experience designing and fielding cloud based solutions in AWS and Azure
- Developing, migrating, and deploying DOD applications to cloud platforms using DevSecOps methodologies
- Experience with continuous development and integration, delivery and deployment pipelines
- AWS or Azure Cloud certification(s)
- Experience designing cloud based ITSM solutions for DOD architectures
- Experience with tools and infrastructure as code (IaC) frameworks including Cloud-Formation, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, PowerShell, and Terraform
- Experience developing service catalogs through the use of workflows developed and hosted in tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, and Zendesk
Responsibilities
- evaluating, assessing, and monitoring new and existing products against applicable cybersecurity standards, including APLs, Common Criteria, and DON directives
- ensuring all architectural changes to the supported systems are compliant and demonstrably improve the overall security posture of the JEXC2 Family of Systems (FoS) platforms
- providing technical support for the DoD cloud initiatives, including cloud hosting and the digital transformation of systems from locally hosted environments to secure cloud environments
- providing developmental and technical support for the JEXC2 FoS; providing inputs into designs, solutions and best practices
- designing and fielding cloud based solutions in AWS and Azure
- developing, migrating, and deploying DOD applications to cloud platforms using DevSecOps methodologies
- experience with continuous development and integration, delivery and deployment pipelines
Other
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related
- 9 years of experience in the relevant areas
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret SCI clearance
