inKind is looking for a Senior Software Architect to lead feature design and execution, drive AI-first development practices, and ensure their platforms are scalable, secure, and high-performing to empower restaurants and enrich customer experiences.
Requirements
- Proficient with AI-assisted coding tools like Cursor, Codex, Claude Swarm, or similar.
- Expertise on designing scalable performant data models at the data base and api level.
- Strong experience with ReactJS for frontend development.
- Expert-level knowledge of SQL and relational data modeling.
- Proficient in at least one modern backend framework (Node.js, Django, Rails, etc.).
- Background building, maintaining, and supporting high-traffic production systems
- Familiarity with Kubernetes or AWS deployment pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical vision and architectural leadership, and AI-driven feature execution across engineering teams, ensuring cohesion across systems, services, and platforms.
- Drive decision-making for foundational system components: service boundaries, infrastructure standards, platform interfaces, and data architecture.
- Champion an “AI-first” engineering culture by evaluating, designing, and implementing AI-native capabilities into the core product development lifecycle and internal tooling.
- Partner with product, design, and data teams to prioritize and integrate ML/AI solutions that create operational leverage and customer value.
- Design resilient, scalable, and high-performance systems that support inKind’s rapid growth across all tools, internal, and customer facing.
- Lead reviews for critical architecture and code decisions with an eye for long-term maintainability, observability, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
- Influence cloud infrastructure strategy in areas such as CI/CD, observability, infrastructure-as-code, security, and networking.

- 10+ years of experience as a Software Architect
- Proven track record of building products or complex features from the ground up.
- Strong communicator able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in end-to-end feature ownership in production environments.
- A solid grasp of security concerns relevant when designing endpoint payloads.
