Requirements
Working knowledge of cloud-based data services (Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.).
Background with project management in an Agile/SCRUM environment using Azure DevOps.
Proficiency using reporting tools such as Power BI, SSRS, etc.
Database Administration and Relational database schema design.
SQL Server T-SQL Tuning.
Proficiency in development technologies such as C .Net, Visual Studio, and SSIS.
Mastery working with data technologies such as SQL Server, JSON, XML.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, deliver and support of reliable, automated big data ETL, integration and product delivery solutions.
Participate in project meetings with other technical staff, business owners and subject matter experts.
Participate in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring and product evaluation.
Perform code reviews to ensure the code quality and best practices are maintained.
Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment with focus on timeliness, documentation, and communication with peers and business users alike.
Work within a collaborative environment with minimal supervision where teamwork and communication are key but also provides opportunities for self-directed work and problem-solving.
Apply the full systems life cycle, design, coding, testing, implementation, maintenance and support of applications software that is delivered on time and within budget.
Other
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field or equivalent related experience.
5+ years of professional experience in back-end software development.
Excellent communication skills are essential to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and assist junior developers in skill development.
Exceptional analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a collaborative environment with minimal supervision
