Ninth Wave is looking to expand functionality, enhance orchestration efficiency for scaling out and back in, and improve the overall high availability of their software products. The company needs an engineer to lead the expansion, update, and maintenance of their software services.
Requirements
- prior work experience with Docker
- prior work experience with reactive implementations of Java
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience with Vert.x

Responsibilities
- build, improve, and maintain application code
- build application code from the datastore layer all the way through to the API
- maintain and patch systems, software, and applications to eliminate bug fixes, security vulnerabilities and maintain technology currency of systems and applications
- document design and engineering standards
- develop to performance metrics and operational guidelines for consistent and stable design
- build and implement operational processes
- Design, develop, and test back-end software

- This role is based in our New York City office and follows the Company's current hybrid work policy.
