The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) needs to modernize its logistics applications and workflows to ensure the sustainment of surface fleet operations and align with broader DHS digital transformation efforts.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and other MS Office Suite products.
- Strong analytical background in gathering and interpreting complex amounts of data
Responsibilities
- Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs.
- Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
- Update software or enhance existing software capabilities.
- May work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems and develop specifications and performance requirements.
- May maintain databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team

- MA/MS with 10 years of experience in the conduct of in-depth and complex research, evaluations, business intelligence, and market studies to obtain information on emerging technology needs and capabilities OR BA/BS with 12 years of experience
