Peraton is seeking an experienced Software Developer to design, develop, and maintain modern, scalable web and mobile applications that directly support public health initiatives for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript.
- Experience developing and maintaining .NET / .NET Core applications using C-Sharp.
- Hands-on experience with mobile development using React Native, native iOS (Objective-C/Swift), and/or native Android (Kotlin/Java).
- Familiarity with RESTful API design, JSON, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive UI design frameworks.
- Understanding of accessibility (Section 508) and cross-platform compatibility standards.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms for deployment and hosting.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web and mobile applications using React Native or .NET (C-Sharp) technologies.
- Build responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces and integrate with back-end APIs and data systems.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers and accessibility experts to ensure applications are 508-compliant and meet usability standards.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to design and implement back-end frameworks and data processing pipelines for web content.
- Create user interface prototypes, wireframes, and technical specifications for web and mobile applications.
- Provide technical recommendations and mentorship based on current best practices in React Native, or .NET development.
- Ensure consistent performance, scalability, and security across all developed applications.

- Bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience or 12 years with a HS degree.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced, agile environment while collaborating effectively with team members.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Citizenship: U.S. Citizen
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Agency clearance.
