SAS Solutions group is looking for a Senior Software Developer to develop SAS Anti-Money Laundering and related Fraud and Financial Crimes products on SAS 9.4, Viya 3.5, and Viya 4.0 platforms to combat Fraud & Financial Crimes.
Requirements
- Experience with full-stack development, from presentation layer to logic and server layer
- Experience working in a Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery environment
- Experience with Java, RESTful APIs and one of the following SQL, Go, Angular or React
- Familiarity with the latest generation SAS Viya platform and the SAS language.
- Familiarity with SAS Visual Investigator as a solution basis.
- Familiarity with Postgres, Oracle or SQLServer.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes or Azure.
Responsibilities
- Take charge on new feature development for new customers while supporting the needs of our existing customers.
- Design and develop high quality, testable, and scalable software solutions within established timelines while adhering to R&D best practices and processes.
- Assist with scoping, planning, and tracking work on complex software development projects in a continuous delivery environment.
- Lead discussion of technical and design issues with other developers, managers, product owners, and user interface and visual designers to ensure implementations satisfy functional requirements and are consistent with established R&D standards.
- Assume leadership in technical projects while mentoring and coaching junior developers.
- Be encouraged to participate in open-source projects on behalf of SAS.
- Ensure all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organization’s secure software development goals.

- 8 or more years of experience developing web applications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative field
