Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is looking to solve the problem of scaling its services efficiently, by making them fast, resilient, and self-healing by default, through the Autonomous OCI initiative.
Requirements
- Proficient in at least one (preferably two) of the following languages: Java, C/C++, Rust, or Golang
- Experience in Cloud compute and virtualization systems, Cloud based Storage systems, or Networking
- Strong grasp of computer science concepts (data structures, algorithms, operating systems, distributed systems fundamentals)
- Experience with containers, Kubernetes, and scalable, reliable workflows is a plus
Responsibilities
- Help build the Light-weight Infrastructure (next-generation runtime for compute, networking, storage, telemetry, and governance) at the core of Autonomous OCI
- Define and develop components for complex distributed and cloud-scale services
- Work directly with technical leads to ensure new capabilities are built with the right design principles
Other
- BS/MS in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 3-5+ years of relevant back-end software engineering experience
- Strong communication skills and experience collaborating across teams
- Ready to learn and jump into new areas and domains
- Compliance with applicable requirements, such as immunization and occupational health mandates
