PHOENIX Retail, LLC is looking to solve the problem of developing and maintaining full stack software solutions for its Express and Bonobos brands, ensuring timely delivery and optimal performance of high-quality applications.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in delivering full stack applications with Javascript, Typescript, Node.js
- Proficiency with various languages, databases, operating systems, scripting languages, and utilities
- Knowledge of Collaboration, Automation and Source Control Tools like JIRA, Confluence, Atlassian Stack, GitHub and Control M
- Possess an excellent knowledge of software development (i.e., program design, flowcharting, coding, testing, debugging, etc.)
- Preferred exposure to Google Cloud or similar cloud platforms
- Preferred experience in Retail industry
- Preferred experience with Shopify platform and developing with Liquid templates or similar technologies
Responsibilities
- Write high-quality, test-driven code
- Demonstrate technical excellence in software development (program design, coding, testing, debugging)
- Provide technical leadership; mentoring engineers while demonstrating technical expertise in languages, operating systems, databases, development tools, networking, and software
- Research, innovate, and implement new applications, functionality, and improvements
- Work with other members of the development team, product owners, and business analysts to define high level functional and technical requirements
- Drive long term success, providing solutions that facilitate future progress
- Assist engineers and users in identifying and resolving system issues by providing application knowledge and technical expertise
Other
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent job experience
- Ability to multi-task between projects and applications and to manage multiple priorities, while meeting deadlines
- Must be self-motivated, team-oriented and able to operate with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to change, keep abreast of technology trends, and learn new skills and technologies
- Exceptional organizational, time-management and planning skills with a strong attention to detail necessary
