PHOENIX Retail, LLC is looking to develop and maintain full stack software solutions for their Express and Bonobos brands, focusing on enhancing their ecommerce platform and ensuring system stability and performance.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in delivering full stack applications with Javascript, Typescript, Node.js.
- Proficiency with various languages, databases, operating systems, scripting languages, and utilities.
- Knowledge of Collaboration, Automation and Source Control Tools like JIRA, Confluence, Atlassian Stack, GitHub and Control M.
- Possess an excellent knowledge of software development (i.e., program design, flowcharting, coding, testing, debugging, etc.).
- Preferred exposure to Google Cloud or similar cloud platforms
- Preferred experience with Shopify platform and developing with Liquid templates or similar technologies
- Preferred exposure to working with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager or similar analytics/tagging platforms.
Responsibilities
- Write high-quality, test-driven code
- Demonstrate technical excellence in software development (program design, coding, testing, debugging).
- Provide technical leadership; mentoring engineers while demonstrating technical expertise in languages, operating systems, databases, development tools, networking, and software.
- Research, innovate, and implement new applications, functionality, and improvements.
- Work with other members of the development team, product owners, and business analysts to define high level functional and technical requirements; then break those requirements down into tasks and provide guidance and oversight for development team members.
- Be a key contributor in project planning by providing estimates, solutions, recommendations, and identifying risks.
- Drive system enhancements and ecommerce innovation, assisting in development of patches or upgrades necessary to support system stability and performance
Other
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent job experience.
- Experience with Agile Methodologies using Atlassian
- Ability to multi-task between projects and applications and to manage multiple priorities, while meeting deadlines
- Must be self-motivated, team-oriented and able to operate with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to change, keep abreast of technology trends, and learn new skills and technologies
