Cribl is looking for a Senior Performance Engineer to solve pressing data needs for IT and Security by unlocking the value of all observability data, providing customers with unprecedented levels of observability, intelligence, and control over their real-time data, especially for large organizations processing massive amounts of data.
Requirements
- 5+ years software development experience, focusing on performance/scale testing
- Expertise in designing and developing performance tests, especially with data intensive applications and/or data streams processing
- Expertise in identifying and investigating performance issues
- Hands-on experience with Cloud (AWS, Azure preferred) and Docker is a must
- Hands on experience with CI/CD Jenkins (preferred) or any other.
- Knowledge and understanding of resource management in Linux or windows is a must.

Responsibilities
- Develop and Run Tests at scale and complexity to identify performance bottlenecks and uncover anomalous system behavior
- Root cause performance/scalability issues and work closely with development teams to make improvements
- Develop tools and frameworks to enable development teams to easily add performance tests, using JS/TS/NodeJS; Docker; AWS; Azure; Jenkins
- Integrate with our continuous testing systems, testing automation (Playwright), and reporting of performance metrics
- Effectively communicate performance test plans and results to cross-functional team members and management
- This position will require stand-by, on-call, or off-hours duties
