Fiserv is looking to hire a Senior Software Development Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications that align with business goals and client needs, ultimately transforming financial services technology.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in software development.
  • 2+ years of experience in Cobol or similar programming languages.
  • 2+ years of experience working with midrange systems.
  • 2+ years of experience in relational databases.
  • 2+ years of experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP services.
  • 2+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • 5+ years of experience with microservices architecture.
  • 5+ years of experience with containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
  • 5+ years of experience with performance tuning and optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications to support Fiserv's business goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Perform coding, testing, and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain and improve existing codebases and lead peer review processes.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to enhance team capabilities.

  • To be considered, you must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for any visa sponsorship, including OPT, STEM, F1, or H1b, both now and in the future.
  • 4+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience.
  • 5 years of experience in the financial services industry.
  • This role is on-site Monday through Friday.
