Fiserv is looking to hire a Senior Software Development Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications that align with business goals and client needs, ultimately transforming financial services technology.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in software development.
- 2+ years of experience in Cobol or similar programming languages.
- 2+ years of experience working with midrange systems.
- 2+ years of experience in relational databases.
- 2+ years of experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP services.
- 2+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- 5+ years of experience with microservices architecture.
- 5+ years of experience with containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
- 5+ years of experience with performance tuning and optimization.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications to support Fiserv's business goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform coding, testing, and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain and improve existing codebases and lead peer review processes.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to enhance team capabilities.

- 4+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience.
