Requirements
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform
- Use technologies such as Terraform, TeamCity, AWS, EC2, S3, Route 53, VPC, Lambda, Docker, Chef, Packer, Datadog, Consul, Scala, Kotlin
- A firm believer in infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Chef, etc.
- Programming experience in (one or more) languages: Scala, Kotlin, Java, Python, Go, etc.
- Experienced in solving distributed computing problems, you have worked with/on synchronous and asynchronous services in a microservices / distributed architecture platform
- Problem solver and an excellent engineer with deep understanding of DevOps, Cloud computing, and CI/CD
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Develop scalable, reliable and highly-performant distributed systems with everything this entails (availability, observability, resiliency)
- Refine and build end-to-end architecture for development, deployment, testing, monitoring and support on the AWS platform
- Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability
- Participate in resolution of production issues and lead efforts toward solutions
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform
- Contribute to vigilantly rewriting, refactoring, and perfecting code
- Develop and implement automation tools to streamline platform operations

- The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $173,000.00 to $242,500.00.
- Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $277,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
