Requirements
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
Responsibilities
- Develop AI solutions for various Prime Video Search systems using Deep learning, GenAI, Reinforcement Learning, and optimization methods;
- Design and conduct offline and online (A/B) experiments to evaluate proposed solutions based on in-depth data analyses;
- Lead cross-team collaboration and work closely with engineers and product managers to deliver AI solutions end-to-end;
- Stay up-to-date with advancements and the latest modeling techniques in the field;
- Mentor and grow junior scientists and interns;
- Publish research findings in top conferences and journals
Other
- 5+ years of experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
- Ability to effectively communicate technical and non-technical ideas with teammates and stakeholders
- Ability to understand problem space, identify gaps and opportunity for improvement, create roadmap and plans for delivering business goals
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Ability to work closely with engineers and product managers to deliver AI solutions end-to-end
