ID.me is looking to enhance its mobile platform by developing new features for its Authenticator app, creating reusable iOS SDKs, and building a brand new Super App that will span multiple use cases including identity management, shopping, and healthcare. This aims to provide users with secure authentication, frictionless digital identity interactions, and new engagement opportunities.
Requirements
- Expertise in Swift, modern iOS frameworks (e.g., SwiftUI, Combine, UIKit), and architecture patterns (e.g., MVVM, VIPER, Clean Architecture).
- Experience designing and delivering SDKs for third-party developers.
- Understanding of mobile security principles, including encryption, secure storage, and authentication protocols (OAuth2, OpenID Connect).
- Familiarity with digital wallets, biometric authentication, and passkey-based login.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and monitoring for mobile applications.
- Understanding of IAM compliance, data protection regulations, and App Store review guidelines.
- Exposure to greenfield product development and large-scale app launches.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance the ID.me Authenticator app, focusing on performance, security, and user experience.
- Build and maintain reusable iOS SDKs that support internal applications and external partner integrations.
- Collaborate with senior technical leaders to implement the architecture and development of the ID.me Super App, which will span use cases including identity management, shopping, healthcare, and more.
- Implement secure authentication flows, including biometric login, passkeys, and multi-factor authentication.
- Apply best practices for security, privacy, and compliance in mobile development.
- Work closely with Product, Design, Backend, and Security teams to deliver cohesive, high-quality solutions.
- Contribute to team best practices, including code quality, testing, CI/CD, and documentation.

- 6+ years of professional experience developing and shipping consumer-facing iOS applications at scale
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate effectively with senior engineers and cross-functional teams.
- Experience working in highly regulated industries (finance, healthcare, government)
- This role is based in our Mountain View, CA office, 5 days per week.
