Responsibilities
- Perform all phases of software engineering including requirements analysis, application design, code development and testing.
- Undertake the product lifecycle including research, proof of concepts, architect, design, develop, test, deploy and maintenance.
- Design and develop modular, flexible, scalable, secure, reliable and quality solutions that deliver business value through superior user experience; reuse the components wherever possible and sharing of components across organization.
- Analyze requirements and implement software solutions; analyze existing software functionality and code to identify cause of bugs and design solutions.
- Create and maintain technical artifacts such as data model and technical design specifications.
- Design and develop reusable components, frameworks and libraries.
- Review code and approve code merges, providing technical guidance & best practices.
Other
- Master's degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation.
- Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S.
- Lead small projects, mentor, train other team members and facilitate onboarding/ongoing training.
- Provide input to forecasting and planning activities.
