The company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop next generation aviation mission and weapon planning software and provide direct support to customers in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Proficient in clear and concise technical language and writing
- Experience across the full software development life cycle
- Knowledge of military and software industry standards
- Familiarity with aviation mission planning
- Working knowledge with Android and other like GUI and processing environments
- Proficiency in embedded development including FPGA’s, DSP’s, and microcontrollers
- Experience with systems and interoperability-level testing of various systems
Responsibilities
- Develop next generation aviation mission and weapon planning software
- Participate in systems engineering, requirements generation, system hardware and software design and development, integration, test and fielding
- Manage day-to-day operations in support of the government customer
- Provide recommendation and analysis in development of documentation IAW regulations and guidelines
- Support room scheduling, distributing meeting announcements, tracking attendance, coordinating presentations materials, documenting minutes, and distributing follow-up materials
- Participate in multidisciplined collaborative team
- Develop software across the full software development life cycle
Other
- ABET accredited engineering degree
- 10 years related experience including experience with full system lifecycle activities
- Demonstrate disciplined time management skills, including the ability to multitask and prioritize to meet programs deadlines

- Some travel
