Oracle is seeking to revolutionize the delivery of new cloud data centers around the globe with the help of a Senior Software Engineer.
Requirements
- 4+ years of Python development
- 4+ years of Java development
- 4+ years of experience with REST API development
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix fundamentals
- Strong knowledge of microservices, data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems
- Solid understanding of relational databases, NoSQL systems, storage, and distributed persistence
- Experience with build automation, continuous integration, or continuous deployment tools such as Git, Terraform, Maven, Grunt, RunDeck, Ansible
Responsibilities
- Help build, test, deploy and operate highly scalable solutions for the canonical asset management system for all of Oracle’s next generation Cloud Infrastructure
- Work independently and as part of a team in an Agile environment
- Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Troubleshoot, debug, and performance tune systems
- Present complex information clearly and concisely to all audiences
- Develop and design solutions with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Work with observability tools and practices
Other
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Minimum 6 years in a software-engineering related position, at least half of which was in an Agile/DevOps environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours and work with team members in a global setting with distributed time zones

- US: Hiring Range in USD from: $79,800 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity
