Relativity Space is looking to develop software for industrial automation to power design, manufacturing, testing, and launch through a unified stack of enterprise applications, factory automation, and ground systems.
Requirements
- Proficient in C/C++, Rust, or Go
- Familiarity with continuous integration and agile methodologies in high-performance environments
- Experience with microservices architecture tailored for high-performance, distributed systems
- Experience managing high-volume, low-latency data flows
- Knowledge of synchronization primitives, memory management, and systems-level performance optimization
- Experience with designing and implementing low-level architectures optimized for real-time hardware control
- Experience developing safety-critical software with direct hardware interfaces
Responsibilities
- Implement quality software that is continuously integrated and deployable
- Solve complex problems using simple, elegant solutions
- Develop user interfaces that are used across the company from component testing, engine testing, launch control systems, and elsewhere
- Design and implement low-level architectures optimized for real-time hardware control
- Develop responsive user interfaces and data backends to manage safety-critical systems
- Build comprehensive test and simulation environments
- Debug and ship complex software products across extensive, multi-platform codebases
Other
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a related Engineering field (Computer, Software, Electrical, Aerospace) or Computer Science
- 5+ years of experience in one of more of the following areas
- Must clear a background check administered by the US government to obtain clearance for on-site work at our government partner location in Stennis, Mississippi
