Virtru is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop high-quality digital privacy products and contribute to the company's mission of changing the rules for data privacy.
Requirements
- Strong experience with developing kernel mode and user mode Windows drivers utilizing Windows File IO APIs and others
- 5+ years of experience in the following languages: C, C++
- Familiarity with the Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code development environments and CMake
- Strong demonstrable understanding of software design patterns
- 2+ years experience with Microsoft Windows service development
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product management, UX, and other engineers to design, develop, test, and deliver new software solutions to market
- Stay on top of technology trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, and sharing what you’ve learned with others
- Coach and mentor other members of the technical teams
- Building software that will meaningfully impact how people approach data privacy
- Work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment where you'll touch a variety of projects and products
- Take ownership of the entire lifecycle and toolchain of an application from code to deployment
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
