Ventura Foods is looking to build, maintain, and scale its DevOps infrastructure in AWS Cloud, ensuring reliability, performance, and security across development pipelines and production environments. The role also involves setting up, configuring, and managing JD Edwards EnterpriseOne applications, including CNC activities, performance tuning, package builds, security setup, and resolving information and technological challenges related to EnterpriseOne.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD,).
- Experience with AWS services such as EC2, EKS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, VPC, Route53, RDS, etc.
- Hands-on with Kubernetes in production (preferably EKS) and Docker.
- Experience with scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Deep understanding of Git workflows, branching strategies, and GitOps principles.
- Monitoring and logging experience with tools like Splunk, New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
Responsibilities
- Administer and support JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (CNC) environments across development, test, and production systems.
- Integrate and manage database, web servers, and application servers related to JD Edwards.
- Setup and administer different environments (Dev, QA, UAT, PROD) in AWS cloud using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible.
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions,or ArgoCD.
- Deploy and manage serverless, instances and containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/GKE/AKS) in production.
- Monitor and optimize performance of server manager, DB, WebLogic, Deployment server instances, BI publish server.
- Automate security practices (DevSecOps) using Snyk, Checkov, Trivy, or similar tools in the pipeline and also manage security in AWS cloud infrastructure.

- Required - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7 Years Experience with DevOps & AWS Cloud
- 5 Years as a CNC adminsitation (JDE CNC function & Linux, iSeries, DB2).
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment with Jira and ITIL change management process using Service Now.
- Participate in on-call rotations, root cause analysis, and post-mortem processes.
