Omnissa is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to write code, design, and develop scalable and secure software for enhancing service capabilities and expanding the product portfolio. The goal is to improve employee engagement while optimizing IT operations, security, and cost.
Requirements
- primarily using Java, Spring Boot, Azure and AWS managed services and cloud best practices
- Work with various cloud (Azure, AWS) as well Private Cloud capacity management API layers (vSphere, Nutanix, OpenStack)
- follow engineering standards and best practices
Responsibilities
- writing code, design, and development of scalable and secure software for enhancing service capabilities and expanding product portfolio
- producing software design solutions and corresponding code with the highest quality and on time
- active contributor to design and code reviews
- actively contribute to full automation test coverage
- engaged in support and troubleshooting activities
- Write technical design documents and hold reviews
- Implement and improve processes around DevOps, Agile, and CI/CD
Other
- engaged in shaping product features in close collaboration with multiple teams and stakeholders, including, but not limited to Engineering, Product, User Experience and Support teams
- Work with the engineering teams and product stakeholders to review and refine delivery requirements
- Perform task breakdown and plan execution
- Participate in all team agile ceremonies
