Transcarent and Accolade are creating the One Place for Health and Care, a personalized health and care experience. The Senior Software Engineer will contribute to the development of scalable microservices for the Accolade Cloud Platform.
Requirements
- Experience in designing, architecting, and developing scalable web applications, including micro services and storage
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in building web services, REST APIs, and general back end development experience is required.
- Solid understanding of full stack web development on Open Source Technologies and Java, ReactJS, distributed database technologies such as RDS, ElasticSearch, DynamoDB, Amazon Aurora etc. on AWS
- Strong foundation on Modern DevOps culture
- Experience in Healthcare especially with HIPPA compliance system is preference
Responsibilities
- design, architecture and development of the scalable micro services as a building block of the Accolade Cloud Platform
- ownership of the complete lifecycle of the service
- Work with Product Management to define the scope and requirements.
- Effective Design, Architect and plan the delivery of the proposed scope.
- Responsible for meeting expectations and deliverables on time with high quality for team and as an individual.
- Effectively communicate the status, manage expectations for the stake holders, demonstrates creative, technical, and analytical skills.
- Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively in both technical and business environments.

- This is a hybrid role working from our Houston office.
- This person is required to work on-site 2-3 days per week.
