ServiceNow is looking for a full stack senior software engineer to join the Customer Service Management (CSM) team, where innovation meets collaboration! This is an exciting opportunity on a newly formed team building a new product from scratch!
Requirements
- Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
- Experience integrating or working with AI/ML models (eg. LLM)
- 6+ years of experience in full stack development with JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
- Solid understanding of web security best practices and performance optimization.
- Experience with any of the modern UI frameworks like Angular, React
- Passion for JavaScript, the Web as a platform, and building reusable, component-driven architectures.
- Experience with data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations.
Responsibilities
- Full Stack Engineer with good experience in JavaScript and server-side JavaScript technologies to join our application engineering team.
- Design, build, and deploy software for a brand-new AI-driven product.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and AI researchers to turn early concepts into working prototypes and scalable systems.
- Integrate AI/ML models (e.g., LLMs) into a user-facing product.
- Build high-quality, clean, scalable and reusable UI code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes (Code Reviews, Unit testing, etc.)
- Work with the product owners to understand detailed requirements and own your code from design, implementation, test automation and delivery of high-quality product to our users.
- Design software that is simple to use to allow customers to extend and customize the functionality to meet their specific needs

- Strong design, collaboration and communication skills to work cross-team around the org.
- This role is a flexible work persona, requiring a minimum of 2 days in office in our Santa Clara headquarters location
- This position requires passing a ServiceNow background screening, USFedPASS (US Federal Personnel Authorization Screening Standards). This includes a credit check, criminal/misdemeanor check and taking a drug test. Any employment is contingent upon passing the screening.
