Microsoft's Agent Flows team is looking to build the next generation of AI-powered automation experiences in Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power Platform to redefine automation at scale.
Requirements
- coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- 2+ years of industry experience in service development, successfully shipping services through multiple releases.
- Experience creating AI-centric experiences, or familiarity with building AI orchestration systems
- Proven ability to utilize generative AI, conduct experiments, and evaluate AI effectiveness in product improvements.
- Experience building scalable applications and services with Azure or other scalable cloud platforms with robust performance, resiliency, telemetry, and security.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deliver innovative automation services and experiences that empower makers and enterprises alike.
- Work across both product engineering and AI capability development, leveraging your technical expertise to solve complex challenges and shape the future of agentic automation platforms.
- Collaborates with appropriate stakeholders to determine user requirements for a scenario.
- Drives identification of dependencies and the development of design documents for a product, application, service, or platform.
- Creates, implements, optimizes, debugs, refactors, and reuses code to establish and improve performance and maintainability, effectiveness, and return on investment (ROI).
- Drives creation and conducting of experimentation to determine the effectiveness of changes, monitors developments for prototyping and testing products, and interprets results from experimentation.
- Acts as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) and guides other engineers by developing and following the playbook, working on call to monitor system/product/service for degradation, downtime, or interruptions, alerting stakeholders about status and initiates actions to restore system/product/service for simple and complex problems when appropriate.
