Microsoft is looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer to join their Office for the Web team to architect, design, and launch cutting-edge systems that drive resilience for massive-scale platforms, empowering automatic cloud infrastructure provisioning, diagnostics, correlations, and automated root cause analysis for complex incidents and mitigations.
Requirements
- Experience in applying machine learning techniques and drive end-to-end AI product development.
- Experience with Prompt optimizations, Data Mining with language models, Agentic systems.
Responsibilities
- Be a technical leader for engineers, owning project efforts and being accountable end-to-end.
- Work closely with leadership to identify necessary engineering investments, define clear requirements, scope solutions, estimate effort, and schedule deliverables.
- Lead initiatives to automate infrastructure provisioning across clouds and operationalize at scale by reducing incident volume, analyzing incidents globally, and delivering broad resolutions.
- Apply sound engineering principles to establish robust, maintainable architectures and designs.
- Champion and drive the adoption of high-quality coding standards and best practices.
