Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- 3+ years of NodeJS development with TypeScript
- 3+ years of automated UI testing experience using tools like Playwright and headless browser automation
- 2+ years of cloud experience, preferably with AWS (API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, Secret Store, ECS)
- 2+ years of experience in an Agile environment, practicing CI/CD and TDD
- Strong understanding of various database solutions (SQL, NoSQL)
- Proficiency in API testing using tools like Postman, Supertest, Axios, Jest, and NodeJS Assert
Responsibilities
- Design and develop resilient, scalable APIs using NodeJS and TypeScript
- Champion a user-centric approach, translating business requirements and architectural designs into high-quality engineering components
- Write, test, and maintain efficient, high-performance code, contributing to the entire product development lifecycle
- Implement complex functionalities, optimize performance, and ensure code efficiency through advanced programming techniques
- Conduct thorough code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to maintain the reliability and stability of digital solutions
- Explore and implement new tools and frameworks to enhance digital solutions and drive innovation within the team
Other
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work on-call for a production application, utilizing telemetry tools like Opsgenie and New Relic
