Raytheon is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to support the AN/TPY-2 missile defense program by providing world-class Radar Software for surveillance and warning systems, aligning with Agile and DevSecOps principles for high-frequency, high-quality deployments.
Requirements
- Experience with software development, test, and/or integration using C, C++ or Ada
- Experience with debugging tools for identifying and resolving software defects and optimizing code performance
- Experience on XBR, AN/TPY-2, COBRA DANE, QEWR, UEWR, SRP or other current missile defense programs
- Experience with radar system concepts; detection, discrimination, track and signal processing algorithms and their behaviors and performance
- Experience working in Agile environments such as scrum, scrum at scale, SAFe and DevSecOps
- Experience with tools such as Atlassian Suite (e.g., Bitbucket/Artifactory, Confluence, Crucible, Fisheye, Jira), Jenkins, Eclipse, and Ansible
- Experience working in a continuous integration/continuous development environment; experience with CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test software based on software trouble reports in an agile, collaborative environment, delivering build to site twice a year.
- Participate in agile execution and continuous improvement.
- Work collaboratively with systems and SI&T engineers to analyze, implement, and test system modification requests to the existing system baseline.
Other
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
