The Land Warfare and Missile Defense Systems (LWMDS) department at Raytheon is looking to solve tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world by developing complex systems to support various Raytheon programs around the world, specifically the AN/TPY-2 missile defense program.
Requirements
- Experience with software development, test, and/or integration using C, C++ or Ada
- Experience with debugging tools for identifying and resolving software defects and optimizing code performance
- Experience with tools such as Atlassian Suite (e.g., Bitbucket/Artifactory, Confluence, Crucible, Fisheye, Jira), Jenkins, Eclipse, and Ansible
- Experience with Script languages (C shell, Perl)
- Experience working in a continuous integration/continuous development environment; experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of Redhat and Linux Operating Systems
- Experience with MS Office Suite
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test software based on software trouble reports in an agile, collaborative environment, delivering build to site twice a year.
- Participate in agile execution and continuous improvement.
- Work collaboratively with systems and SI&T engineers to analyze, implement, and test system modification requests to the existing system baseline.
Other
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of five (5) years of prior relevant experience
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with time-critical requirements
