Galileo is looking for software engineers to help build and scale payment systems, solve technical, product domain, and operational challenges, and improve existing processes.
Requirements
- Demonstrable programming experience, ideally on a modern stack.
- Some exposure to database and cloud technologies
- Strong PL/SQL skills and knowledge of database stored procedures
- Strong Python and Oracle skills
- Knowledge of AWS managed services, Secrets Manager, and IAM
Responsibilities
- Be an integral part the development and testing of our systems and services
- Help translate product requirements into user stories and technical solutions
- Implement and support highly available and scalable services in a production environment that impacts millions of individuals
- Generate ideas for process improvement, initiatives, and new technologies
- Communicate and collaborate with project leads, product managers and other software developers
Other
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of experience or demonstrable equivalent experience.
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves, collaborate with others, and get stuff done
- Strong problem-solving skills
