Microsoft Azure Edge + Platform (E+P) is looking to create a trustworthy OS and platform services to empower Microsoft and its customers to achieve more, by making the operating systems used in Microsoft PCs, devices and the Azure cloud trustworthy.
Requirements
- Coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- Experience in software development lifecycle, large-scale computing, working in Cloud Computing and Distributed Systems
- Experience with Security Operations Center (SOC) detection, threat analytics, security incident and event management (SIEM), information technology (IT), and operations incident response
Responsibilities
- Contribute across the Cloud Security team scope
- Ship platform security features
- Drive scenarios across the Cloud & AI org
- Mentor developers elsewhere in the team
- Lead engineering initiatives across platform security
Other
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements
- Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field (preferred)
- 8+ years technical engineering experience (preferred)
- Ability to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
